Forte, dinamico e fortemente fiducioso il popolo egiziano risponde con la sua immensa e gradevole ospitalità al problema dell’economia turistica egiziana, invitando gli italiani ( da sempre amici degli egiziani) a tornare in vacanza nelle splendide località del mar rosso.

E si perché l’anno scorso le cose non sono andate molto bene. Questi i dati: l’Egitto ha accolto, nel corso del 2013, 504.110 nostri connazionali, pari al -29,9%: numeri molto inferiori a quelli dell’anno precedente, ma che comunque testimoniano del grande fascino che l’Egitto continua a esercitare sui viaggiatori della Penisola, afferma l’Ente del turismo egiziano, secondo il quale, quindi, “è con estrema fiducia che le autorità egiziane guardano ora al futuro”.

Tanto più che la stessa Farnesina ha recentemente riconfermato la propria posizione in merito alla situazione nel Paese, mantenendo il disco verde per tutte le principali mete turistiche: Mar Rosso, i più importanti resort della costa mediterranea (Marsa Matrouh ed El Alamein) e tutto l’Alto Egitto: il che significa Luxor e Assuan, ma anche via libera alle crociere sul Nilo.

“Secondo l’ente del turismo egiziano, l’obiettivo è quello di tornare ai fasti del triennio 2008-2010, quando gli arrivi italiani superavano costantemente il muro del milione di visitatori.

Un traguardo alla portata del Paese dei Faraoni, come dimostra il successo registrato durante l’ultima stagione natalizia, quando la maggior parte dei tour operator italiani si è trovata costretta a ricorrere a voli aggiuntivi e ad ampliare la propria offerta sull’Egitto, per far fronte a una domanda sopra ogni più rosea aspettativa”.

Il ministro del Turismo egiziano Hisham Zaazou sarà a Milano in occasione della prossima Bit dove incontrerà i tour operator italiani per valutare con loro le migliori strategie da adottare per far ripartire turismo e investimenti. Il comparto dei viaggi è infatti un settore assolutamente vitale per l’Egitto.

Le autorità egiziane, infine, non si stancano di affermare che il Paese è “una destinazione sicura, in grado di accogliere i turisti con sentimenti di grande ospitalità e cordialità.

Il Paese lavora senza tregua per mantenere la sicurezza e la stabilità, conscio che proprio la sicurezza è il maggior pilastro dello sviluppo turistico ed economico”
